KS90-1DP- the KS90-1 is now available with ProfiBus DP
The universal process controller KS 90-1 from the PMA BluePort® range connects
directly to a PROFIBUS-DP network. Using simple "plug & go" functions,
typical control parameters such as process value, setpoint, status data,
and control signals are polled from the PROFIBUS-Master without the need
for any accessory equipment. Additional process signals and parameters can
be specified freely by the user. Of course, the DPV1 functionality has been
implemented as standard for standardized parameter transmission. Furthermore,
the diagnostics for these new BluePort® controllers have been extended, i.e. apart from limit
signals and sensor faults, numerous other functions such as counters for
operating hours and switching-cycles, error logbook, etc. are available.
KS40-1 burner - controller customised for burner operation
Precise and cost-effective
control of burners is provided by this new controller in the BluePort range. Control of 2 stage, three
stage and modulating (stepping) burners is catered for. A second analog
input provides for external setpoint, position feedback or waether compensation.
Controllers can be slaved off each other (as positioners) for multiple burner
applications. Pressure transmitters can be powered directly from the
controller. As with all BluePort controllers, configuring, tuning and
monitoring is easily managed via a PC connected to the front data port.
Availability
Witromat - End of Production (31/10/00)Although the Witromat controller series is now out of production, we still offer repairs on these. Alternatively, suitable replacements for all of the Witromat range can be found in the current ranges of controllers: KS40, KS90, KS92 and KS94 Please ask us if you require assistance in selecting a replacement. P30 / P31 Economy Pressure
Transmitter Economic range of pressure transmitters with fixed spans, from 1 to 400 bar gauge. Available in two wire (4...20mA), 3 wire (0...10V) outputs, with manometer style (P30) or flush face (P31) process connection. Coupling thread available in 1/2" or M20.
Plastomatic, Witropuls replacements Plastomatic, Plastomatic II, Plastomatic 50 and Plastomatic 48 and Witropuls 50 can be replaced by the KS30 or KS50 controllers. In the case of the Plastomatic 50 and Witropuls 50, ensure there is sufficient mounting depth (the KS30 is somewhat deeper at 111mm). The KS30 / KS50 has a panel face size of 96mm x 48mm, so a blanking plate will be required when replacing the 96mm x 96mm size instruments. The KS50 offers some advanced features for plastics machinery temperature control ( e.g. slow start for dehydrating MgO insulated heaters, non-disruptive adaption (tuning), heater current monitoring etc). The KS30 has fewer features than the KS50 and is available in two relay (heat + alarm) and 3 relay versions (Heat/Cool/Alarm. |
'BlueControl'
Software for configuration, simulation, and installation of 'BluePort' controllers
20/07/02
The BlueControl software provides support for all of the BluePort family controllers (KS4x-1, KS50-1 and KS90-1 variants. Configuration and parameterisation is simplified with an 'explorer' type presentation. Downloading can be to the onscreen simulation, or to a controller via a serial cable.
Testing of a configuration is aided by the 'programmable
process simulation', which allows you to chose process response variables.
In addition to configuration download /uploads, the software can display
a trend plot of many (user selectable) variables - aiding greatly in comissioning
and performance monitoring. The BlueControl software can be downloaded here, with
many features available in the demo mode. Two levels of licence unlock
remaining features.
The controllers can
be configured individually as signaller for limit monitoring, as positioner
for any duty cycle, or as two-point controllers with DPID behaviour. The
automatic self-tuning function can be started either for all controllers
together or individually, and ensures optimum control parameters, also with
thermally coupled control zones. 'Paperless'
